The Final Countdown

The final countdown has begun...except for the appliance installation, backsplash accent tile re-installation in the kitchen and sodding everything has been completed. Starting last Friday, the PM and his crew are working towards setting up the house for Ryan Home Quality Control (the PM will be rated based on the qc rating)....a lot of small defects are being addressed and is expected to continue throughout next week...we will start working on our punch list starting Friday.

one thing we were unhappy about last week was the backsplash accent tile in the kitchen...they installed 3x3 dot accent while we chose 4x4 dot accent..the accent tile was also not layed out very well..the pattern was uneven...talked to the PM about it..it's going to be fixed next week.

work done since our last post.....

  • hardwood in the main level and carpet in the basement & 2nf floor done,
  • bronze electric fixtures
  • deck
  • Sprinkler system
  • Stairs from the garage into the house
  • Final painting
  • Garage door
  • driveway paved in.
  • Water downspouts installed
  • Gas meter installed
Hoping all pending work (sodding, appliances and kitchen accent tile) will be completed by the end of this week.
