Bricks and Drywall Photos

The Front Porch was completed yesterday and it still needs siding, pillars and shingles. It is waiting for its inspection.

Shingles are missing around the trim near the wide end of the gables. That will be covered along with the fornt porch work.They will also take out the flashing extensions that are there in the brick.

Brick..Brick...Brick

Yesterday we received our first supply of the brick (Savannah Moss). The Savannah Moss (Brown) brick is new to our area and we didn't have any existing houses with this brick to look at. Also, given the fact that the brick color changes with the plant, the lot number(brick batch) and how long the bricks are baked for, we were very skeptical as to how it would look on the wall. Today they installed the bricks and the looks have exceeded our expectation. we are happy that we have made the right choice and it looks great on our Waverly.
